03 wrx sedan stock sway bar size

Like it says. I have been looking for the size of my sway bar for front and rear. I need new bushing and want to get greasable bushings. But at autozone it says there is a 15mm, 17 and 20mm available. Thanks

No WRX comes with the 15mm that I recall. 02-03 sedan should be 20mm while 04-07 are 17mm. IMO, the stock bushings should not need frequent re-lubing unless you are offroading.

OP is in Pennsylvania - so road salt may be eating his lube. Even here in CA, I use a marine grade grease that resists wash-out. But agree with ^, that sway bushings should not need THAT much service.

If OP has an 03 wagon, his rear could be 17mm; sedan is 20, as 04GG mentioned. Fronts for 03, any chassis, should be 20 as well. that one you won't wanna service too often...uggh.

Yep, neglected to catch that PA location.

AFAIK, all WRX wagons are 17mm. Only the 02-03 sedans had the 20mm rear and they switched to 17mm for all WRX 04 and up likely to cut it down to one set of parts - clamps, mounts, bushings and bar; even though only the bushings and bar and possibly the bushing clamps were different.

Yeah PA here. I took a crescent wrench tightened it on the sway bar and measured the distance, converted it and got 19mm. I figured it was 20 cause of corrosion. Thanks. Do you know the torque specs for front and back bushing and endlinks? Thanks
