Tires/Suspension... what to do?!? *pics*
Hey guys, Im somewhat new to the suby world, and ive got kind of a delemma...wondering if anyone had any opinions for me?
Ive got a 2004 WRX, it has a JDM ej207 and a six speed stuffed in it, with a twin scroll vf37, its a sweet ride, i love it. I had intentions of building a car just like it, but found this one in California.
anyways, it has a 1" (im guessing) ebach lowering springs, and a saggy butt kit... it looks damn good, only problem is, i live in NW montana and want to be able to drive in snow and gravel and not have to worry too much... even though ive never scrapped with it, i was curious. do the lowering springs reduce suspension travel? it has 225/45R17 tires now.
should i get rid of the ebachs? should i put 225/45R18's on it? Will they fit? Do they make like a 50 or a 55 side wall?
Im just trying to gain a little clearance back even an inch, and i do plan on skid plating it.
thanks for any input at all in advance, im just trying to weigh my options
