hello all. i currently own a modded 97' nissan maxima, but am selling it for a wrx. (at least i think so) i do have another car in mind, a 6speed 2k2 nissan maxima. but i really want a wrx, so i just have a few questions i would like to clear up, so i can make my decision final.
i understand that some answers may be bias, so whatever. i already asked at my home community, maxima.org and got a few bias answeres there as well.

when modding a wrx with bolt on's and upping the boost by lets say 4-5psi - how reliable do they stay?

i heard that to get a good e.t. in a wrx you need to launch it at about 4500rmp, (which is understandable) but some say that 1st gear often goes out, and clutches burn up like cookies.

i have not driven one, but ridden in one, and it feels real fun to drive, but one thing i am worrried about is its refinement. i am only 18 so arnt looking for a luxery car, but i dont want cheap plastic either. i am comming from a maxima, with heated leather, moonroof, and all the works. is the interior crap, or just a little plain?

could you guys and girls just give me some breifing on what the wrx offers and some other specifics, just so i can get more firmiliar.

You don't need to raise the boost to make more power- basic flow mods and reflashed ECU will give you far more power thabn any Maxima makes.
