On Sunday (8/22/10) my Friend is holding a car wash for donations. A good friend of hers has a son in Army Basic Training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. She would like to go to his graduation but can't afford the trip. So, my friend is holding this car wash to help her get to the graduation.

The Car Wash will be held in S. Sac off of 24th St. and Hogan Dr. By the Airport Baseball Field and the end of 47th. Between Fruitridge and Florin. Any donations would be appreciated. It starts at 10 am and ends at 2pm.

This is something close to me, hence why I am passing this on. Being a former active duty troop and current guardsman with several deployments behind me (and one more to come), I understand how important it is to have family and friends supporting you.
