hey guys. well long time ago i saw this rx-7 with a greddy sp muffler or one like it with a stainless turndown for a tip. i liked it so much that i wanted it for my car. i dont expect anyone to like the idea but i just fell in love with it. the tip i am going to use is not the tip that i have pictured but it will be just like it in stainless steel and 3.5 inch not 3 inch. the tip is just so you can get the idea. the muffler is a greddy sp muffler with a 70 mm inlet and outlet. its about 10 mm smaller than i would like but it works for me.

sorry if the welds look like poop. i mig welded the piping and tig welded the hangers. i did not feel like tig welding each piping joint.

 

Actually I like that style. I think you should paint the piping w/ high temp paint though. I'd go with black or an anthrocite like color.

 

yeah, i am painting it high temp black. i cant paint the piping yet because i have to finish welding the rest of the parts.
