Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Which Bov is louder? HKS or Turbo XS.

Both are loud and both make totally different sounds. It's hard to say who's louder.

THe HKS is more of a whistle where as the Turbo XS one is more of a air whooshing sound.

hrm...my HKS SSQV doesnt sound too loud to me. But then again its also going up against my Kakimoto GT1.0z Titanium exhaust and my stereo system (2 Diamond Audio TDX 10" subs with 1100watts to each)

The stereo wins btw...
