New similar threads pane at the bottom of the page??

Seems like a good way to get people to necrobump useless threads from early 2000. Do we need this function on the site? Is it new or have I just not noticed it?

I understand you point. I don't know that suggesting other discussions on the same topic is bad. :) We can post guidelines concerning bumping old threads if necessary, let's see how it pans out. Thanks!

Other forums have "similar threads" suggested as you create a thread, to try and prevent a duplicate from being made. This just shows all the time.
