Smile Please Implement Rating Feature for Threads and Posts

Would anyone like a rating tool for i-club? Ive seen them on other boards and I like them, pretty much everyone can rate a post or thread good, bad or no rating. Its an easy way to show you agree or disagree without posting or derailing a thread off topic.

Here is the best example I can find, Fatwallet.com:

You can rate the thread topic as well as each reply.

Here you can see which threads have been rated, the red ones are usually bogus.

When you click on the rating you can see how other users rate it also

Bring it to i-club

We had the feature on one of the older site versions, but I can count on one hand the number of threads that even got one rating. People just never used it.

Personally, I never see it used much on car forums because the number of replies speaks for itself. I see it used on forums for deal discussions or where stories are posted, which isn't really how the populace here works.

Thoughts?

hehe, I would definitely use it. It could be integrated really nicely too, for instance you could have the same format as the user profile (like join date) in the upper right corner under the post number.

This could be big!!

Very cool, if i-club tested it, we could see how everyone liked it. Then see what the majority is. If nobody likes it, then can it.

Thanks! How do you see the votes? Does more than one person have to rate a thread?
