I never use apps or the mobile phone view for iclub, i have ALWAYS used the regular desktop view.
Now when I go to iclub on my phone, it automatically redirects to the mobile site. I have to go into my settings and change it back to desktop view each and every time. Can this be changed back? Or at least not redirect i-club.com to m.i-club.com? Ive talked to at least a couple other people with the same issue and annoyance with it. |

Also changing the settings on mobile web browsers doesn't stick by default and has to constantly be reapplied. Thanks |
If you don't mind using a different browser, Dolphin allows you to force desktop mode on all sites.

I prefer Chrome since it syncs all my info between phone/PC |
Which phone are you using? Android or IOS?
Oops nevermind, I just took a close look at your pics. Let me check as my Iphone defaults to the 'full' version. Bob |
Ya running Android 4.3 on the Note 3
|
My iPhone has been defaulting to the mobile version lately as well. Mildly annoying. The mobile version itself is pretty terrible.

So scrolling down to "View Full Site" on the mobile template will cookie that selection so it does not always go back to mobile if you "x" out of the tab and reopen it. Google's standards now ask that sites default to their mobile view when coming from a mobile device, hence why this new theme is on by default without the pop up.
Android's default "Request desktop site" doesn't work as well as the Full Site button and will not cookie your selction. Forgive my screenshot from another site but here is an example of the "View Full Site" button location at the bottom of the mobile template: |
Thanks for the info, it work!

Even after clicking the "view full site" button with cookies enabled on my android phone it still bumps me to the mobile site every once in a while. Its really annoying as we have all agreed that the mobile site sucks so bad it is unusable. Can we just trash the mobile site already? Does anyone use it?
|
Any updates on this? My phone still defaults to mobile sometimes. Even though I have pressed the "view full site" button and have not deleted that cookie. Can we have the default be desktop and have an option for mobile? It is interfering with the functionality of the site.

Hi,
I honestly doubt it as IB is focused on completing a new mobile app this year. Hopefully, that issue will go away with when it is available. Thanks. Bob |

Bob
I don't want a new mobile app. I want the browser to default to fullsite instead of mobile version on my galaxy s II. It keeps sending me to the mobile version even though I have clicked "view full site" Did you even read my post? |
