I second that...unless it generates a ton of revenue for the boards or something...

 

im onboard with this too. it really distracts you when youre post browsing.

 

Those IntelliTXT links/ads were recently added to generate consistent revenue. We realize that not everyone will click on those links but it does really help i-Club when people do so.

I was wondering when that happened I think NASIOC recently added them too

 

I'd be curious to know how much. If it's worthwhile, I'll make it a point to click on a bunch everyday.

 

Pat, I don't know the amount of revenue that i-Club receives from each click. Alex put them there and hopes that at least a few members will click on them if they find them useful. If not, don't click!

It's just another source of revenue along with our vendors' support. We don't have the sheer number of vendors that some other boards have (like the big 'N' ) and we don't want donations from members. That leaves us with finding other consistent means of keeping i-Club up and running.
