Well, since I sold the rex I need to sell some of the parts from it.

Borla XR-1 3" Catback - SOLD <--- you also get a FREE Helix v1 DP if you buy my catback. There is a catch though, so read my second post. I think MPJ lists these for $573.99 new but that's without the flange, so I think this is a pretty damn fair price.

This catback looks brand new and has about 30k miles on it. It's a full 3" system, and has the end welded up with a flange that will fit most aftermarket downpipes (flange was welded on at MPJ/GB Motorsports.) This thing has a wicked sound, especially when running catless. It's a bit raspier than a Helix catback, and sounds a but meaner IMO as well. It's pretty loud if you run it catless, but not excessively so.

Now someone buy my Catback damnit! I need to get some money to have Krinkov install a clearbra on my Redline! The price on the catback is obo, so keep that in mind. I'm more than happy to meet the buyer as far away as Fremont in the southbay on the weekend, or in Santa Rosa if you give me some time so I can schedule a 'visit' with my brother who lives in the area. Also, please read my second post regarding the Helix DP I'll give free to the buyer of the catback.

Here's the deal with the Helix v1 DP. The thing worked flawlessly on my WRX the entire time I had it on there untill THE DAY I went to take it off my car. I went to my parents house to take everything off my car to trade it in (my Dad has more tools than I do and they live near where I got the car). The problem is that they have those curbs that are rounded and continue in front of the driveway. Well since my car was lowered I smacked the bottom of my car on the 'curb' in front of the driveway. It appears that the flange on the Helix is what hit the curb. Upon doing so, the rear most mounting bracket ont he DP snapped off. The rest of the DP is perfectly fine, but the bracket is now broken off and there is a small hole in the DP where the weld broke away. I imagine this should only cost pocket change to have welded back up, but I don't know. Regardless, whoever buys the catback gets it free if they would like, so it wouldn't hurt trying. If the buyer of the catback doesn't want it, anyone else it welcome to make offers on it. I'll let it go cheap cheap cheap.
