I have a carbon fiber hood that I had bought over the summer. The seller shiped it to me and the corners of the hood (the two by the windsheild) had broken off. After no luck trying to get my money back to repair it, I just bought a new hood.

The hood is pretty banged up from shipping (hence cheap/free). the corners are mostly off and it has a few chips out of the clear coat and some missing carbon on the front.

The new hood I had bought didn't have a hood scoop so I salvaged the one off of the broken hood so there is also no scoop on it now or any hardware or washer nozzles.

If anyone local wants to come out and check it out just pm or post and we can work out the details. Remember, don't expect much so I would drive too far because I don't want to dissapoint anyone when they come out.

No, i would rather not ship it since it is damaged, I would prefer the buyer come out to see it before the purchase just to inspect the hood.

 

that thing is beat. is the front drivers corner smashed above the head light too? How is the underside, are the hood mounts ok? is it a name brand hood?

The front drivers light has some chips out of the clear coat down to the the fiber mostly its just the corners that got really screwed up.

I had bought the hood off of ebay and the seller took it a mailing station to package it and ship it but they didn't put anything on the corners and the hood must have gotten droped once. I did the claim and they misrouted the hood to california and screwed up the rest of it and then they told me it wasn't packaged good enough.

The guy I bought it from lives in Lancaster, CA he said he would refund cause it was his fault it wasn't packaged right but i never heard anything back from him. So now I am just trying to cut my costs

 

What year is this for ?? 02-03 or 04+?

 

Are there just a lot of chips in the clear coat or are there actually peices broken off?
