Maybe one weekend, when the wife is at work on a weekend (once a month), we can get together at someones house who has CS2 and up, and I can do demo's with my processing. What do you guys think? Anyone wanna open up their place? People can bring in photos, and I'll show you all the tricks that I know.

Sounds good. I would be willing to share some tips as well. I think all we really need is a projector, outdoor meeting spot and a white wall. I can bring my macbook and generator. We do this for the MR2OC Photogpraphers meets and I have definitely learned a lot.

If you all are serious about a Photoshop post process little meet/workshop I can do it the weekend of Nov. 15-16. So which ever day works best. Plus we'll need someones place, computer with Photoshop, and a projector I guess. Maybe we can do Pizza or something like that as well!

Anyone interested in meeting up in Sonoma for a photo day in the next couple of weekends, please drop me a PM...
I'm in CentralCA, so something up in the foothills would work as well.
Oh, btw, I'm hardcore Photoshop. My RAW workflow is Aperture-based these days.

Now guys, please don't make me regret posting these...

Interesting. IIRC, I can do that by simply hooking up my Nikon to my Mac, and using Nikon Capture NX. I can also supposedly sit at my computer with the camera on the tripod and remote shutter release as well...

for those wondering WTF it is, it's a Voigtlander Bessa R3A with Voigtlander 12/5.6 Heliar.
here's a self-portrait from it:
