So today was fun.
I started the day by dropping my first production server in my 9 years at this company. That was fun. Luckily I couldn't have picked a better in-service system to drop. The app is in beta pre-production so there was no user or monetary impact
I think I'll leave in a few and find some fun in alcohol while I do my class assignments.

Basically I was replicating the server to another system. I logged on to the prod server to check the filesystem sizes against the new system. Since I'm replicating them, they have the same hostnames.
Well, I didn't check what I was doing and
/sbin/init 0
A minute or so later I go "WTF why is this hangi....OH ****
