Well just bought a AP v1! I was so happy and ready to flash the maps.(340 is a nice deal too). So got home to unstall the software.....didnt work..i connected the AP to my 04 rex and the AP screen went straight to the main menu but wouldnt let me change maps. To make a long story short the AP is for 03 AND ITS STILL MARRIED!!!! The person i bought its from dosent care..hes not giving back my money.(his car was totaled so cant unmarry)so if anyone wants to buy an unmarried AP im sellin....

Ya. I called Cobb and they said they can fix it.........its just going to be 400 bucks.....i nearly fainted.

what was the scenario of the sale? Was it documented? Did you go through paypal or cash?

 

it was craigslist....i didnt know that the v1 was year specific for only 02-03. Besides the guy said that it was for an 04.(i called him after the sale and said he had it on his 03). So he lied about the year....(first problem) then the f**ken AP was still married. (second problem) i went home to find that out. I called him just to get the money back and he dosent pick up...once he did.. All he said is "its craigslist man, u know how it goes... " hella cold.

i thought v1 could be used for 04.. hmm i would call cobb and ask them they will know about what version and how much to reflash it.
