No prob, J.
Also, soccer game sounds fun as hell... Even better, drunken soccer! We need some beer going! Believe it or not, people drink responsibly at this event... we have had alcohol the last 2 years and it worked great. Not to many folks drink, but its nice to have a cold beer with you meal on a hot summer day.
You can limit the beers to one a person VIA ticket.

I like brucelee's thinking, a beer with a meal...perfect. The ticket thing would prevent ppl from drinking too much so like one ticket per person is a good idea.

No kidding. I hate to say it but I don't think I'll be rolling out this year. $17 plus a shirt plus gas. Be about a $70 day for me. Toss in beer and probably dinner afterwards with friends and i"m looking at $100-120 easy.
Sucks. Have fun everyone. Take pictures.

Because alcohol SUBSTANTIALLY increased the price to EVERYONE when not everyone will be drinking. Then toss in the legality of providing minors with alcohol as it WILL happen. Having to get permits at the park for alcohol. The police KNOWING there will be alcohol provided. Etc. Etc.
Unless you plan on buying a couple kegs and charging per beer which makes no sense either. BYOB is the best way to go. Let people take responsibility for themselves and keep the price down.
You want to take responsibility for a bunch of 12-20 year olds getting drunk and crashing then go for it. This is why I didn't make any of the planning meetings. I knew no one would listen, no one has before so why would this year be different.
oops. mean to quote brucelee.
