My bro in law...who's pretty well off & fairly modest about it...is not a gearhead.
Most things mechanical escape him.
A few month's ago, he mentioned to me that he wants to get a GT3.
He goes on about how hot of a car it is...I agreed.
I reminded him of his non gearhead status & mentioned that he talk to a Porsche tech that I know.
Also mentioned that he'd most likely find the Twin Turbo a better match for him.
I then offered that he wait and take the new Nissan GT-R for a test drive.
He poo poo'ed that idea saying, "It's just a Nissan."

Justin let me borrow one of his road bikes, and we went and road almost 15 miles today down the American River, so I could test it out to see if I enjoyed it....
**** was actually pretty fun, we averaged about 12mph. I had a spurt where I hit just over 25mph then almost collapsed afterwards..
I spent half the trail trying to get my Shoe into the stupid peddle, first time ever riding one of those.. they are def. different
