These are my left over parts from my hybrid project. I have no idea what the history is behind the STI stuff, I bought it as a short block that the seller said it had 1200 miles on it. The cylinder bores were perfect, true, and no crown ridge. When I split the block I discovered that the main barring were munched and the others showed wear.

STI piston, wrist pin and clip set-------$75 shipped

I want to go with after market pistons so I wouldn’t be needing these. Stock STI pistons, wrist pins, and retainer clips. The pistons are all marked with a 'B' on the tops. I left the dirt and the rings on these pistons so you can see no rings were cracked. The skirt coatings are a little warn but other than that they look in great condition.

Note, some of the pistons look foggy in some pics because it was very cold outside when taking these pics.

That 2.5 is CLEAN and still showing cylinder hone. That's a steal of a motor. Good luck selling! Do the STi pistons drop into the 2.5 block?

nice tight fit, be a good way to drop the compression if any one wanted to do a RS-T build (the sti piston tops are dished).
