WRC/F1 Petition For Speed Tv and Fox Networks

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but it should be a sticky.

Sign this petition to have Fox networks and Speed TV broadcast more non-NASCAR programming, such as WRC, F1, and motorcycle stuff. Spread the word, please! There's not many signatures right now, but the more we get, the better chance we have. It takes 5 seconds, and it's for such a good cause!

The problem with this petition is there just isn't any money in the other racing. Unfortunately other forms of motor sports will never be as big as NASCAR. You can catch WRC every two weeks when it is in season. F1 is on all the time. SCCA runoffs I have 'em all. Sounds like you need a DVR. TIVO???

Actually, Speed was considering dropping (they may have already) WRC and F1. I think this is what the petition was referring to.

The other rumor was that OLN was going to pick up the WRC coverage.

So who in blazes is running WRC coverage this year? I don't see anything about WRC in the Tivo listings for Speed Channel. If Speed Channel drops WRC and F1, I'll have absolutely no reason to watch it and will drop the channel entirely.

I'm still PO'ed. Fox Broadcasting ruins everything they touch: destroying programming diversity to promote lowest common denominator mass market garbage. If Speed TV drops WRC and F1 coverage, I'll start by deleting Speed TV and all other Fox channels from my Tivo controlled DirecTV service. I'll let Fox and DirecTV know by email why I'm doing it, too. My daughter is going to graduate and leave for college later this year: then I'll cut back on my premium DirecTV service, again letting the programmers know I'm voting with my spending money. Fox is for couch potato, methed-out idiots.

I checked the OLN website, and I don't see anything on their schedule.

Any other ideas?
