Are these guys serious? I'll never understand the cocky attitude displayed by SRT-4 owners. What ever happened to respecting each others rides?

I thought this quote was funny!!!! Unless I was just hit upside the head when was the last time an srt or any fwd won a major rally competition???

dude that whole f-ing post is funny as hell.......they start bashing everyone wrx's, sti's, evo's, and mr's.....i figure this much srt yes is fast in a straight, off a role etc etc.....but to comapare them in the corners against an sti or evo? come on now lets have a little common sense here. hey they can bash all they want when its all said and done they still have a neon that can only go fast in a straight line and any monkey can do that.

 

The SRT-4 was actually doing quite well in the 2wd portion of the SCCA ProRally championship last year and the year before. I don't know if they are competing this year or not since the championship switched management to become Rally America.

They did quite well, even coming close to the AWD times.

 

I know every car is as good as its driver but given the same driver with two seperate cars (wrx and a neon) with the same hp its only obvious who would turn better times and of course track conditions play a major part and the way i figure it the poorer the track condition the more an awd will be allowed to show its true strengths

 

lol... ignorance... i will find vid. clips, between the srt4,wrx,sti,evo's...just to prove to them an srt4 is not what they think it is... shhhhhttt they can just buy a mag... and they would see the comparison...kids, kids,kids...lol

 

I don't know why they even compare their neon w/the STis. They are in two totally different classes with the Impreza being of way higher quality.

Bashing on the Neon's because a few of there owner's like to talk **** is just lowering yourself to their level. FWIW I think the SRT-4s are great cars but they just don't suit me or my needs. They're quick in a straight line and they also handle very well (check on how they're doing at SCCA on the National level).

It's always the guys with either insecurity or pen1s envy that try to bash on other people.

Tell them to go check the latest auto magazines or go to an auto-x or lapping session to see the difference.

My favorite was the girl tat posted this RWD>FWD>AWD as her choices for race cars. So that's why all the really expensive sports cars are RWD and AWD huh?

Don't get me wrong SRT 4s are great in the straights and all but I would still not buy a hopped up Neon...it's just not a quality car. I'd rent one though...lol!

 

Makes me want to register over there just so I can set them straight. How can people know so little? I mean that SRT winning rally comment was just retarded! They have different classes for FWD and 4WD. Guess which class posts better times.
