Did the FMIC go in with or without much struggle? I have heard both sides. Which FMIC do you have there?

Will it being marketed toward US or Japan customers? And is that J-spec "duc-tape" Oh my god.....That is so hard to find!

I have the Perrin FMIC.

I paid Axis Power Racing in St Louis to do the install. They did it very slowly (incrementally cutting off more and more of the inside front lip) until it fit. I think they spent about 6-7 hours total on the FMIC install...

6-7 hours just on the FMIC install? It would probably take a single person about a good weekend to do it right then, huh?

If you were taking your time to make sure you did it right, yeah - it would take a good while.
