what do you think is it worth it ? for free basically

the only problem being the fact that half my car will be obp and the other being jbp... your opinions please... i know im a "traitor" to the hawkeye community but i like the blobeye and its for free. honest opinions please.

I would not do it based on the painting the car issue, if it was a straight swap color matched and all I would definitley say yes But not if you have to spend $1K or more for body work and paint

hey thanks gio for the coment i was wondering if anyone knew if the 04-05 lights just plug and play with the headlights on the 06-07? maybe ill try it and let people know.

 

No problem, as far as the headlights go I think you will have to get an adapter or even be able to switch wiring harnesses that go to the lights. I am not certain, but I can at least try. I know when I did a 4 cyl to V8 swap on my mustang I had to switch the wiring harness that plugged into the alternator and headlights. I think 04/05 headlights are 9004 Style Bulbs, and 06/07 headlights are 9006. So either swapping the harnesses or adapter kits are in order.

Are you still thinking baout doing the swap??? If so how much is the paint going to set you back?

im still thinking about it but if i can get someone with an 05 in obp then its the same color so it wouldn't cost anything but i dunno. im still in the decision mode.

yea that sounds good ill look around for an adapter.
