I have an EJ205 turbo short block for J-Spec 8/98-6/01 Impreza & 10/00-5/02 Forester. It uses all components from the current WRX engine or just custom build it how you want it, brand new in the crate. $750

As Andy confirmed, this block will do the job. I've sold 3 in the US and even shipped three to the U.K.
Oddly enough, these blocks are highly regarded and really hard to get ($$$) in Europe.
