Ae86 for sale $650 cash!!!
word. im poor so im pondering selling my drifter ae86 again
if you are looking for a pretty show AE86, find $5000, go away and buy the club4ag one thats on sale.
my ae86 is a 1984 SR5
white spray paint.
completely gutted
in various states of rebuilding right now into a drift car.
it runs quite good, suspension is new and was replaced (HOURS of labor)
no AC, no PS, no heater
electric radiator fan convesion
will come with front and rear seats (rears not pictured)
new exhaust
4 tires all good
glass is all good
no rear door right now, but one can be bought for ~ $100
floor boards have been rebuilt and reinforced with millions of rivits
all fluids changed
brakes are good
brand new toyota e-brake cable
rear spare tire well is currently cut out. ill include a sheet of stainless steel and a sheet of aluminum to make it flat with, or to make a skidplate with
radiator is 2 years old. oem replacement purchesed new.
tranny is really good. shifts as good as my impreza. the shift bushings have been changed, feels like a normal shifter now, not a bowl of pudding anymore
AE86 is NOT a cheap car. its not as expensive as a GDA, but not cheap either.
motor has 40K on rebuilt head. water/oil pumps iirc from previous owner are not original. i would guess mab 80K miles on the parts.
car weighs 1950 lbs, and is faster than SOHC vtec civics if that means anythign
this things got MAD hours of labor, before you start bashing it, ask yourself how much time you spend on your impreza.
ive probbly spent 2x the time on the AE86 as i have on my impreza, and my impreza isnt that close to stock (fwd->awd rear end+gastank, etc....)
it is arguably as fun as my impreza. (a bit slower)
SR5 conversion to GTS isnt the worst thing in the world. most GTS u buy for less than $3500 u end up swapping rear end, motor, tranny anyway, so if you think my trying to get a fair price for a really rare car that ive sunk $$ into is stupid, then leave your comments somwhere else.
if you think AE86 is some magical initial D toy machine, then keep watching the anime. my AE86 is a 18 year old car, and needs MAD care + $$$ to make it run good.
car is located in Troy, MI 48098.
you can post offers here, PM, etc
my cel fone is 248.703.8159
$650 cash takes it
trades are open too. if you must have a door, we can work somthign out. car will be put back to geather in the front with dash, guage cluster, etc.
you can drive it home. my buddy took it on a 500 mile road trip this summer.
you can drive it all winter long and use it as a drift/beater. it wont die on you
fires up good.
