Sporting Goods store in Rocklin/Roseville area?

My Dad was telling me that there's supposed to be some Cabelas sized sporting goods store in that area. Is this true?

Sporty goods

Sportsman's Warehouse is in Rocklin, next to R.C. Wiley. It opened in December.

Cabela's is building in Reno next to Boomtown, supposed to open in Fall 2007.

Edited to add: Bass Pro Shops is planning on building stores is Sacramento, Manteca and Reno.

There's something huge getting built off Sunrise that backs up to 80 just before Eureka on the east bound side. not sure what it is though.

FRY's....

I thought I had heard that. So are they going to close the Frys in North Sac or just have two in such close proximity?

There's like 5 or 6 of them in the Ghey Area. Sac is finally moving up. :p

Ok, terrific... Has anyone been to it? Worth a look?

Bass Pro Shops is great. Used to go to the one in Charlotte

yeah, the location seems a bit odd. Hey, lets put a second fry's within 10 minutes of the first, and still manage to neglect an entire section of Sacramento!

IT FAWKING ROCKS!!
The gun section is pretty decent given that this is PRK.
Not as huuuuuuuuuuge as a Cabela's, but large enough.

I checked out Sportsman's Warehouse the first week it was open. It is not as "upscale" as Bass Pro or Cabela's, but their prices appear to be lower.

I've been to the Bass Pro in Vegas. It's nice, and you can spend some serious time there just looking around.
