Question about iTunes

for the pc (yah, blasphemy, right). anyway i want it to be like winamp where i can use the buttons at the top of my keyboard to control it. like next track, play, pause, volume up etc. so i searched and found a program called iRemote. well, this works but it only works if iTunes is the active window. so i cant be in a different program and still use the commands. any one know how i can make it work globally??

what kind of keyboard? are these special play/pause buttons? I'd look at the drivers for your keyboard.

Why not stick with Winamp? Or try Windows Media Player 11 beta, it's pretty good, can be a little sluggish with a big library though.

I'm pushing over 9000 songs, 1200 videos, 2500 pictures, and it can get a little sluggish at times, but it's still a lot better than WMP10.
