New to "I-Club" and Chico area

I'm moving from Vermont to Chico, CA next week, and I noticed the NorCal boards were way more active over here, so I just joined up. I've been on Nasty since it was new, but I'm not a big poster. Anyways, here are a few shots of my STi in various poses:

At Nationals, I ran ESP, my friend ran SM:

Better shots showing the 275/40-17 Hoosiers:

Shots after throwing the Pirelli Corsas on my track Rotas:

And finally, a dyno graph after some tuning at KTR here in Mass. 93 octane winter gas, fairly conservative boost, etc.. KTR uses a Dyno Dynamics dyno, with stock STis showing 220hp or so.

Anyways, I didn't want to be a troll, so i figured I better post. I'll be in Chico come June 1st, and hope to make it out to some SFR, Sac, and other autocross events, and some track days at Thunderhill.

And yes...i ditched the BBS wheels for the Enkeis, as I needed something wider with a better offset for the Hoosiers. I also got the Torques cheap, so keep the Rota bashing down please

You won't catch any bashing here, Rotas ro otherwise. Welcome to the club. Let me know if you need to retune the car for our 91 octane swill, we've got a Mustang AWD dyno here in Sac and lots of experience with STi's.

I'm digging the 275s, looks mean

Don't forget some Reno Auto-x's too (though, that might be just too far of a drive).

Welcome.

Nice ride, and welcome to the board! One question though, how much WHP do the Tire Rack decals add?

Welcome Chris! I rock the Rotas too. They're cheap and decent quality.

Hey why are your calipers red? Did you swap them or just paint them?

I do believe they add $100 every time you win in your class. Not directly correlated to WHP, but sort of, in a roundaboutway

Hey guys, thanks for the hellos.

nKoane: I do intend to run some Reno events, prolly closer than most of the Sacramento and Atwater events. Where do they run in Reno?

STI deede: I haven't touched my brembos, still gold.

T-Will: The Tire Rack windsheild baner is required at national auto-x events. Besides, it adds at least 20 rice-power,

Anyone else in and around the Chico area?

They run most the autoX events at the Stead Airport, just north of Reno.

Oops on the brakes. One of the pics looked like it was painted red. My bad.

Unfortunately there isn't much action anymore around Sacramento for Auto-x. There will be an event June 11, but its the first even since 2001 or 2002 (can't remember exactly). Hopefully there will be more starting up soon. Also, there are plenty of American Auto-X events and occasional SCCA Solo 2 events in Atwater, which should be just about as far away as Reno is to you.

And like Deede said, we race at Stead airport mostly, which is about 5-10 miles north of Reno.

I have family in Chico so I make it up there every once in a while. Where in Chico will you be living?

And might I recommend you check out Christian Michaels for dinner some night? It's a bit pricey, however, if you're single, it's a great place to meet some seriously hot ladies, and if you strike out there, the restaurant is just down the street from Panamas, which is a huge hang out for the college crowd. They have pretty cheap drinks and it's a fun place to hang out.
