Been wanting to go, but not in the storm conditions lol. Highway 80, Colfax all the way to stateline, has been closed for at least the last 17 hours.

I feel ya on driving during HUGE storms! An acquaintance was stuck in Tahoe on Sun, couldn't get back till the next day, and missed a day of work. :rolleyes:

I'm riding Kirkwood tomorrow. But since I'll likely have a few peeps w/ me, I doubt I could swing by the meet.:ohwell:

Just gonna enjoy the sunny skies for now, then start doing my snow dances come Super Bowl wknd in hopes that Mother Nature, Old Man Winter, and Ullr bless our mountain playgrounds with some freshies. Since this past Mon, there's been ZERO precip and still only a very slight chance in the forecast late next week.

Awww.... sux, bruddah. When tix for the next trip--likely 1st or 2nd Sunday of March--goes on sale, jump on em ASAP.

As I said, this is such a killer deal that they sell out with the quickness! I recall the trip I got in on last year sold out in about 4 days.

FYI: The 2nd bus trip was postponed this past Sun, Feb 10, due to road and resort closures over the wknd. It's now on Sun, Feb 24!

Just paid for my ticket to SnowBus #3.:dance: Hopefully, there are still spots left if any of y'all were still on the fence. I'm shocked it's not sold out yet, but I bet only 2 or 3 seats are available at this point. C'mon! Don't miss out!

I bought an epic pass, so have a hard time spending money to ride elsewhere, even if it is a great deal. Maybe others will jump in.

Totally understandable if you've already got a pass. Another Bay Area cat is joining me on the trip, and he has the Epic Pass like yourself. But he lucked out this season by not having to spend as much cuz Vail offered the full Epic Pass for ONLY $99 to active military and vets as a thanks for service and in honor of the Pass's 10th year. Now that's truly EPIC.;)

And it looks like tix for the March 10th Snow Bus are still available. I'm talking to you, Rob, since you missed out last time.:p

And Rob, did you swoop up on a snow bus ticket? I just checked and at least 1 spot is available cuz the quantity drop down only shows "0" or "1" as options. It normally allows you to buy up to 4 total.:nerd:

Good to hear! I had a blast at Sugar Bowl yesterday. A fellow BAiC shredder (SR20steve) joined me on the snow bus too! Here's a "glamour shot" he took of me.

And since we're having an amazingly deep snow season, 98 Rock recently added another trip to the schedule. It's in 3 weeks on Sun, Mar 31st.
