Rolling rears on a GD STi is tough - you'll pop off your overfenders (any side load on the fender breaks off the little pins that clip into the fenders, need to epoxy them back on, and you can't get that much more space out of them, they're already cut and pulled. My roller barely makes a dent - you're talking grinder, dremel, or sawzall, and a big hammer, and some glue. I'd recommend starting with camber bolts to add just a touch of negative if you're close - you're not getting much without major surgery in the rear.

After further review, ya'll are hard on ****in' tools. Christ.

Off to Lowes for new hardware to replace missing bolts, and trying to figure out how you animals BENT the hub flange 3/8" plate trying to roll 16gauge sheetmetal, and countersunk the lug holes when they only need to be fingertight and the conical bushings are ON THE HANDLE.

Cliffnotes: no more loaning the tool out, it happens at my house or it doesn't happen
Herrafrush is hard work.

(I'm not mad, just astonished )

Unfortunately, that is the trick to the rear - glue bits back on after swinging a big hammer and grinding out more room, lol. I have an '05, so I'm not BSing - I've got the same situation

For the record I used that roller for all of like 5 minutes and barely even did anything at all with it. Frankly I don't even think I rolled the fenders at all lol.

I know you're not mad, but I WOULD be if I were you, I'm just sayin.

So you did use it or you didn't? I don't get it...

Anyways, I'm not aware that I broke anything off it, but since I had it the most Ill take full responsibility and will pay for the damages of the roller... Lmk Aaron.

Dude, it's 2 bucks in hardware, already fixed, I'm not worried. Just cracked me up. It's more that this is the first time I've really looked at it in ~6 months. I was actually thinking about buying a second one meant for more lowered cars - if I do that, I'll just start doing loan fees and deposits again. The blue one paid for itself a long time ago so it's a depreciated asset. It's had a lot of people using it in addition to Ramon, and outside club guys - wasn't directed at you, dude.

Still works fine, now it just has more character

FYI, the front fenders are thin enough that they're easy to damage with the torque from a normal roller, I picked up a new Eastwood tool that crimps the fender lip on single-thickness metal and is a better call for fronts, I just need to play with it a little bit on a sample fender I'm picking up from Jarek so I can help people do it well.

Will post some pics when I have some results.

Yep - did mine with 4-5 spring clamps like the second picture, after filling the gap with epoxy.

I might borrow a roller again soon. Any recommendations on how to tackle "pulling" the rears on a bugeye wagon? I'm trying to get an extra 15mm or so from my already rolled fenders.
