Saw this get referred to quite a bit this weekend... The Voyager program is quite amazing! It takes 19+ hours each way for any data transmission.

Starting to get a slight headache.

So far today ive had 36oz of water, so I know its not that.

Just popped two IB to see if that takes the edge off.

There's nothing to roll, you are essentially trying to pull 3-4 layers of beadrolled metal. I managed to cheat about 10mm on the white car with a medieval pull and then epoxying the flares back on afterwards (the plastic pins they fasten with snap off if you look at them funny). Take a look at the rear on Chicken's car when you see it, there's a visible outward flare. The other approach (still be prepared to epoxy) is to take a die grinder to the inside of the fender - but there's already no lip, you're basically trying to burn through a lot of material. Not a lot you can do, and your'e then jsut attacking the lip and not making any space higher up in the fender where the top of the tire will rub as the body narrows even if it clears the lip.

Also, #tickingtimebomb, etc, etc., Y'all got jokes

Welp, that sucks, though I'm not entirely surprised. I felt around inside with my hands and also couldn't really feel any sort of noticeable lip, but figured what do I know: bodywork/paint/aesthetics is totally unknown to me for the most part.

The dude installed some wheels (actually really crappy, STR brand) and is absolutely positively IN LOVE with them. They rub insanely in the rear. He's raised the coilovers to the point that the car is stock ride height, but they still rub violently. The wheels aren't even big, just really low offset.

Oh wellz, I was gonna try to help him, but never mind

haha at least it's not slammed. and has really fancy/good coilovers. and much of the rest of the car is tip-top for the most part (10k original miles, 60k total in receipts for all the parts and work done). so I'm not giving him too much drama over the wheel selection. but it doesn't sound like they will work. ever.

unless maybe run tons of neg camber?
