2018 SFR SCCA Sacramento Chapter Autocross Thread

w00t. Schedule is up for the 2018 season for the Sacramento Chapter of the SFR SCCA! More Thunderhill action this year!

Online Registration can be found HERE.

***IMPORTANT NOTES***

Registration for events at Mather are $5 more per day than San Joaquin County Fairgrounds and Thunderhill
Mather one-day registration: $50 onsite/$45 online
SJCF/Thunderhill: $45 onsite/$40 online
For non-SCCA members, weekend memberships are now $20 per weekend.

Pay to play prices:
Non-member full weekend at Mather: $120 onsite/$110 online
Non-member full weekend SJFC/Thunderhill: $110 onsite/$100 online
Member full weekend at Mather: $100 onsite/$90 online
Member full weekend SJFC/Thunderhill: $90 onsite/$80 online

I did that math and if you are planning on doing most events, it behooves you sign up for the SCCA membership AND do online registration. Even including what we paid for the membership, Nicole and I will be saving almost $200 EACH after doing the membership and online signups. If you have done events in the past and done the weekend membership, you can discount the cost of that weekend membership from the annual membership. If you need a referral membership number, let me know. Doing that, the family/couples membership was only $70 for both of us!

So yeah-- get your SCCA membership and do the online registration.

Now, I need to figure out tires...

Bawlz. Copy and paste got me.

How do I change it? Admin? Anyone?

JourdanWithaU Jan 22, 2018 07:17 AM

I think and admin/mod needs to make the change and have it actually stick.

Which events are you going to? All of them?

Plan is to try for 100% season in STH class. or the SiTH class

Chris GTO TT Apr 3, 2018 02:26 PM

Signs are pointing to me at least being able to make it to the first Mather rounds.

Rev. Rob Large Apr 4, 2018 01:30 PM

The first weekend is just around the corner. Per usual, I'm trying to pile on as many mods as I can in an unnecessarily narrow window immediately preceding the event.

Planning on being out both days in SM. Just waiting for our SCCA cards to do the online registrations. w00t.

Less than two weeks away!!

Got both cars just about sorted. Nicole's is ready to rock. Really curious to see how the RS-RRs perform.

For my car, I doubt I'll be able to get the AOS and radiatorin in time so those will wait until after the first Mather event. Other than that, it's good to go!

Cannot wait!

Added to some important information in the first post.

Just a reminder that PreReg/Prepay payments must be submitted by Thursday before the event.
Also they updated the classes in the PreReg that reflect the additions of STH and SSC classes.

Chris GTO TT Apr 16, 2018 07:08 PM

do I run in SM with most of the i-crubs crew or in the correct class for the Miata, STR.
