2013 Sacramento/Norcal RallyCross season at Prairie City
We're getting all the info for the 2013 season of RallyCross at PC. It's our seventh year hosting events and look forward to anyone who has never come and checked it out/participated. Come out and go for a free ride with us. The following dates will comprise our season at Prairie City.
March 8-10
April 12-14
May 24-26
June 14-16
Also happy to meet up with folks out there and give them a sample of what a rallycross is anytime. I can set up a course so you can see what all the fun is without hurting your car.

Thanks Kyle, btw, I have some trophies for you and Tyler. I'll have to drop them off when I head over to Woodland to visit with Jan(the FAST old Swedish guy who had the '74 Mini).

Stock is a good starting point. That is the beauty of rallycross, when you first start it's not about the car, it's all about the driver, so if you have the factory tires and wheels, throw'em on and come have some fun.

Just think of it as a run what ya brung and come out and have fun. You can also find the class structure there, but again, don't worry, come on out and play in the dirt. If you like it, then you can start tweaking your car for the class you want to compete in. Simply put Stock=Stock, Prepared=mild suspension and non internal power stuff and Mod=everything else.
As for dates and PC website, they will post our dates when they are official, but for now, I will be able to answer questions about more info. I'll be setting up prereg info at myautoevents.com usually month or more in advance of the events.
Keep asking questions and let me know if you want to check out PC anytime.

btw, what is your bolt pattern?

We hold them in the western part of the 4x4/VORRA area. We use the timing tower with the course area north and east of that, down to the area around the water fill/restroom area to the east.

I spent a few days out at PC last summer figuring out a nice long course. I found that sticking to the outside of the 4x4 area was generally the smoothest path, and also made for a very long "lap".
A little video of me out there in my Legacy. Prarie City- Hoopty - YouTube
And one from the first 1/4 of the "lap" (just as you enter the 4x4 gate on the right hand side). Sorry for the shakey video- this was handheld and iphone. I was the only car in the 4x4 area at this time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Np8kG...ature=youtu.be
