You can put whatever width you want on, but the car will handle like crap outside a certain envelope. I personally think 225's are too wide for a 6.5" rim, but that's because I like tires that are predictable in a corner.

Are you honestly telling me that in all the years you've had your car, you never knew they were 6.5's, or couldn't find it with a search? C'mon

225/50/16 is a bit wide for the stockers. i ran that size for a while and ended up with better handling running the OE size tires (not the OE tires tho).

in all the 2 years I've always just stuck to 205's, for this next set I thought about going a little wider.

eh, looks like I'll stick with the 205/55's since the 215/45's are a different revs/mile
