What does IROC mean??? You know how the old cameros have IROC engines...what the hell does it mean??

By the way, there was nothing special about the engines in the IROC Z-28. They weren't extra high-performance like the later generation SS Camaro. The IROC was a cosmetic package to commemorate Chevrolet's participation as the sole provider of spec cars for the IROC series. The series has also used Porsche in the past.
