Team SMR hit a few snags today at the track. When Gary went out for the first qualifying session in the late afternoon, he was off the pace and reported that the car was down on power and the handling was, well, as he put it "dangerous".
The crew thrashed until 11:00 pm Saturday night changing the knock sensor which entails removing the top half of the engine. Changes were also made to the rear suspension so hopefully tomorrow we will see the kind of result that the car and Gary are capable of.
