Since it is a NASA weekend, anyone can get it. The cost will be $10 a head, and the day starts early. I don't know what time their race will be though.
You can probably find info at www.nasaproracing.com

FWIW. The WRX is in pretty rough shape.
Yesterday during the TT warmup, Brian and the WRX got 2 3/4 laps under thier belts, each of which looked very good. It was pulling very hard and passing just about everyone on the track.
Just as Brian came out of the carousel on the straight before turn 7 a puff of white smoke was seen on camera and the cockpit soon filled with smoke.
Brian: "The engine let go". Mike "the reaper" Warfield: "Sorry Mate" LOL
Mike and Tommy packed up the WRX and bought it down to Gruppe-S for an engine swap. Tommy set his pesonal best with a 5hr swap time.( Get a life hoser Haaa). As of 11pm lastnight, The WRX has a date with a Rocket Launcher. Everything was replaced and still no go. Hats off to Mike and TOmmy, two hard workin' ****'s.
Later reports from Brian were that it was a blast running the WRX unlimited. USTCC and Grand Am have put a wrench in the spokes when it comes to running a ***** out Subie in competition

So the only timed lap was lap 2, and it wasn't a very goog representation of what that car could have done that day. He was barely pushing, just warming things up, on some old tires, and still managed a 1.52.xx on the long 7 config. Warm up times didn't count though, so we officially scored no laps. But we will get a fresh engine next time and we'll really see how fast he can go.
