Subaru Out of WRC

Looks like another racing world loss.

I hope this isn't true, but it's coming from several sources.

Subaru is the first car that comes to mind when you say rally. At least Rally Team USA will still be there for us...

Rallying IS Subaru and Subaru IS rallying. Neither of them will be the same without each other.

What a damn shame. Sad day for motorsports. And to hear Subaru say, they "have improved brand recognition enough to pull out"... So what there is only two factory teams left in the WRC, whats going to happen to the sport as a whole??? I blame Sebastian Loeb!

dam shame...for now. I bet in the future Subaru will get back in it. So this means 01-08 are rally cars..if you get 09+ its just a AWD car

I didn't realize I'd be as sad as I was when I heard the news. Something tells me they won't re-enter for a long time, if ever.

I'm hoping SRT USA manages to stick around.... especially with how well they're doing in the US.

I signed this the other day: http://www.mysubie.com/thank_you_subaru.php

Half the reason I continue to own a Subaru is due to the efforts of the SWRT. Makes it kind of hard for me now to justify keeping mine. Especially with the tragic edition of the 08-09 Impreza... Absolutley heartbreaking that Subaru is pulling out of the WRC.
