SCCA RallyCross in Colorado

Has anyone competed in a SCCA RallyCross in Colorado? I have a 2004 WRX and would like to try it. What kind of prep do I need to do? Can I be competitive on street tires? Do you need a co-driver?

I haven't competed yet, but I've been looking into doing some stuff at a California one soon. I don't know about prep. When you say street tires, do you mean stock RE92s or some other tires. RE92s can be hold their own in the stock class, but I've heard that its a good idea to put your tire pressure up really high so that you don't slip off the bead.

I don't think you need a co-driver, as the actual racing portion is a lot like autocross, but on dirt.

Here is a link from the SF region series I'm thinking of trying out (as soon as I get a WRX).
