I don't think I would use a brush on the sensor in fear of possibly scratching it. Keep blowing on it with the rocket or just ignore it for now. If it really bugs you, you could always take it to a Nikon Authorized dealer and have them clean it for you.

This "new" monitor I got does better with blacks, skin tones and general color "pop", I think it might be a little sharper too so it seems like a better monitor than the HP ones I've been using. Its also a TFT LCD monitor while my HPs are LED LCD monitors so I think that's one of the things messing with me. The colors don't look off to me (too blue on one type deal) and contrast/brightness look to be pretty dead on (comparing multiple charts online) so hopefully I'm not too off. My printer was definitely off when using the HP monitors, we'll see how the new one does

I'll probably end up renting a calibrator especially since Borrowlenses has a calibrator that does both monitors and printers, just to make sure everything is where it needs to be. Gotta pretty busy year coming up, it'll be important to make sure everything is on the same page

I wish I had a printer worth calibrating

That's probably why I don't see too many people loaning them out lol I don't think any of my photographer friends have one, or if they do, they're 400 miles away lol

I agree with Jodice, wouldn't be too comfortable using a brush on a sensor, too much at risk I'd keep using the blower and in-camera cleaning system.

it shows a bit on the left side with the 85mm@f16 which is usually the same stop when im panning.so if i take pics at the autox this weekend it might make your monitor look dirty again

If you have never cleaned your sensor. It can be a scary thing at 1st. Buy a sensor cleaning kit. Follow instructions .. be too easy and never to hard. I cleaned my a850 with a rocket duster. Sensor swabs and Zeiss lens cleaning swabs. Oh and my streamlight flashlight. As good as new. Not bad for on the road field strip. NASCAR got everything so dirty. Or you can send your body in yo get cleaned. Wolf I think does it in house now days. Before the would not touch it.

I typically love the rain, but this was the one day I didn't want it. Had to reschedule a photoshoot
