Tiffen is "meh"
I think the best one out for normal photographers is B+W. I would advice buying a 77mm size filter and just buy step up rings for all of your lenses. You'll save money in the long run.
Hoya also makes their super high coating whatever filters which I heard are pretty good.

Oh, btw, do these autox's have some type of "lifestyle" in them? I ask because thats what my current photo project is on. For example, someone repairing their car on the spot or someone being really happy about winning?

When I'm at the beach or some where with harsh conditions I'll use a UV filter. Most of the time I use a polarizing filter to make the sky more blue and remove glare on water/plants. You do lose about 2 stops when you use one though so I take it off when I photograph inside.
