Driving up to Portland from the Ca. Bay Area

The first weekend of October the wife and i are having a little 3 day weekend up in Portland just to relax. We love that town not to mention the "Trailblazers" are my favorite basketball team in the NBA sence "Golden State" still blows. Ain't trying to get anything starting like a meet or anything. Just wanted to give a heads up incase you spot me.

Rally blue 2003 WRX sedan with Gunmetal 17" tarmac Rota's and the name Bushido across the windshield.

Thought i'd at least get a "hi" from someone. No mater I'll be in Porland enjoying myself Oct 3-5 eating at some good restaurants and seeing some small jazz shows at the local bar.

Didn't get the place i wanted right downtown so i'll be driving the car around a little more while i'm there

I love Washington too. My wife and i have stayed up in Port Townsend a few times. It's really nice there. Plus Seattle is a very down to earth place. Just my pace.

Thanks for the "Hi"

I hope you had fun bushido. I'll be taking a drive up to Oregon myself on the 20th. Did you stick to the coast on your drive? That’s what I’m going to make sure to do.

The last time i went up there we did the coastal drive. Very nice. but this time we were kind of in a hurry. So we just took 5 and drove about 90 MPH the whole time. Passing on the inside and pissing the locals off.

But yes we had a great time. The people in Portland are so kind. saw a few nice Subaru's. Saturday afternoon, this Blue one that had the whole works body kit gun metal wheels with polished lip etc. He and his girl turn this corner and i almost waved. But i was walking on foot and didn't want to freak him out. If i had been in my car i would have gave a what's up. Nice car anyways.

We stayed up on 23rd in the Rose distric / *** hill area. I'll be back up there again soon enough.

I even saw an STi Saturday morning while on my way to Tully's on 23rd. It was the first time my wife saw one in person.

thanks again Portland.
