buying an sti soon need advice
I'm looking to buy a sti soon, like in the next two weeks ( I hope sooner). Any way who has the best deals. I don't want to pay over 35, correction I want pay over 35 out the door.
I heard carter has good deals, but puyallup only goes over msrp by 9%. so what do you guys think.

Now is the worst time to try to get a deal on a 05. wait 11 months. You can get 04 for a few hundred over invoice right now.

request a quote through the website.
Out of carter, chaplins, eastside. and penninsula in bremerton, they were the only one who reponded quickly and with a sub-msrp quote.
I traded an '02 wrx auto in great shape for 16,500
When chaplins first contacted me, they had 3, now they might have one, tinted
It also had 100+ on the odo so you could get them even lower
If I'd payed 40k, I'd still feel like I robbed a bank, and what a getaway car!

Hey Boomer, are you still looking to buy an Sti?
ok here are my research results...Went and negotiated prices at:
Auburn, they will not sell it under MSRP for an 05.
Chaplins: willing to sell it for $1000 under MSRP for 05.
Carter: I was able to get invoice on an 04 which is roughly 29 500. I did not talk about the pricing for a 05. The 04 is now sold I am pretty sure.
Eastside: not willing to beat the Chaplins price.
Forget name but one Dealer wanted more than MSRP....so I hung up the phone.
Then finally I got my car from Renton Walkers Subaru who beat the offer from Chaplins. So if you want a good deal, goto Renton Walker and ask for Janet Johnson.
From my experience, I would recommend either Chaplins or Carter but Renton Walker is head and shoulders above the rest in service.

and don't forget that the rims are wider (8 inch)
and a USDM e-brake setup versus JDM setup
daytime running lamps
and a new keyfob with immobilizer key
i'd say its a pretty good deal for an extra 1,000 dollars.
in terms of cash, check or finance- dealerships really do not care nor are they impressed when someone throws petty cash around- all they(we/me) care about is that the money is clean(or good) and that the offer is within reasonable means-
not tryin to flame you DChan . . . just offerin some insight

thanks guys for all the help. I picked up my sti about a week ago for msrp with the alarm.boost gauge and wheel locks. I'm preety happy with it. Some people tell me I could have got it for less but it did have only 7.8 miles on it when I got it.
