STi GC rollcall.

Hey guys,
Just curious as to how many STi swapped GC's or GM,if you prefer to be technical, are on I-Club forums.

I have a '98 2.5 RS with an 04 drivetrain,Aerosims carbon fiber bodykit,custom v-mount intercooler set-up,and a few other tricks.

There is another HIIC member contemplating an 05 swap.I'm just curious as to how rare an STi swap really is.

Currently,I am the only STi swapped GC/GM driver in the state, unless someone on the neighbor islands has one I haven't heard of.

Here's a couple pics of my baby.

My Impreza has rust, so I don't really want to swap it. I'm just gonna do a rear-disc conversion and tarbo my ej22 using this http://www.rs25.com/forums/f7/t10779...arts-list.html .

When the rust finally takes my car, I'll definitely get another GC (or GM) and swap it myself

My GC4

Performance: KYB AGX, Whiteline fsb, Helix front endlinks, 17mm WRX rsb, 17x7.5 Sub-Zero's with Toyo T1S 225/45, WRX front brakes with Brembo rotors and Akebono pads, and a Borla cbe.

Oh boy oh boy I have one!!! It's great to see someone else with the hoodprop issue, but if I may suggest, the stock one fits perfectly along the firewall and clips into a brake line plastic tab. A bit better than a broomstick lol.

My car has the '07 EJ255 WRX, and is currently getting a custom 3" hard inlet, garrett t28/evo3 16g hybrid, and FMIC with ultra custom piping; I hope to finish it in two weeks.

MonsterGC, when you plan on finishing?

Not, quite a STi but I do have a 2.0 WRX swap in my 99 RS. The power mods are a VF34, "pinks" and full exhaust.

It was something close to the Evo MR color but a little darker with a bit more flake. Hey I'm going to Kauai next month, could you give me some ideas for things to do, that aren't so touristy.
Thanks

I love Kauai,I really don't know anything thats not touristy there.
Kauai is truly paradise, lots of waterfalls, and the Wailua river is nice too.
Go to the fern grotto if you get a chance,IIRC,you ride a boat up the river to get there,it's where they filmed King Kong, and Apocalypse now,and a few other movies.
Other than that I don't know what else there is to do on Kauai, other than relax.
Try to pm sneezerboi,he's from Kauai,he might give you some suggestions.

Great thanks the advice. BTW what size of wheel tire combo are you running? Are you using the 05 STI 114.5hubs?
