Thumbs up

Hey, I just got the same car as you(sonic). Where'd you get your side moulding's done...not through Subaru? I had to have mine painted. Looks great.

For myself, I've already ordered a front liberal grill as well, and perhaps a version I or II front lip. CF wing extenders will be done as well for exterior. Rims as well after a coilover setup.

Well, let me start by saying that I put ALOT of miles on my cars and that if my car is down for a day, it really hurts my job. I had 42,000 miles on my '02 (Yes 42,000+ actually). So as much as I would love a TXS kit or a stiffer suspension set-up, it is not feasible for me right now.

I will be honest and tell you that I love Subarus and all cars for that matter. As far as wrench work, I suck...I am incompitant. So, if I drive my car (in city traffic, not highway) all day and something goes wrong, I can't fix it myself.

I also love racing (F1, WRC, etc)....but I don't autox my car (yet). I would like to take it to the track before any suspension mods. Also, I can not compromise ride quality any further. It is very stiff for our crappy Philly roads (I have 215/45/17s) as is. I think I may try Eibachs and upgrade the shocks at a later date when some good aftermarket ones come available. (STI pink set-up is very expensive, and still, so we'll see).

With all of those factors, I will end with this.....the factory engineers are much better than me, so I am hoping for an STI next year.

Since the pic: STI hoodscoop (no I didn't get the vertical supports painted), probably will get Eibachs and an STI V1 lip after the new year. Maybe UP and DP also.

BTW: That Blaze above is serious.

For myself, I've got some cash to spend. Already have an Avc-r, Blitz BOV. Will be getting an uppipe/dp/exhaust as well. I also plan on upgrading the turbo, injectors, pump. I want 300 whp as my goal.

I know, I know......enough excuses. I'll post some more pics after I install some Eibachs.
