Some new pics by the bay
First off, before people start flaming...
I like the small Hella 1400's. I think they look sweet... They are actually functional and they're driving lights, so the beam pattern is different from the JDM fogs. I wanted to add some extra lights but I didn't want to go the route of putting a light bar on... that and I didn't want to spend the extra few hundred for the PIAA XTs. Particularly not after I'd just spent a few hundred for the JDM fogs.
Besides, they "draw" your eye away from the Laser Jammers (bet you didn't even see them, huh?) :P
I kinda like the look of the hood deflector. I've gotten used to it. It's functional, protects the hood, and doesn't deflect air away from the intercooler scoop... so there Actually I do have the hood portion of the rockblocker set, but haven't had time to even think about putting it on. And I can easily identify my car now in the parking lot Oh yeah... and they're a great police anti-magnet (kinda like removing the wing on an STI)
FYI some of my mods:

EXTERIOR:
STi rabbit carbon fiber front emblem
Modified 2.5RS Splash guards

Silver painted rear amber bulbs
JDM “hybrid” tail lights mod

OTHER:
Aftermarket alarm system
Cruise Control support bracket recall
VINprotect window etching
SecondSkin Damplifier mats for all 4 doors and trunk
SecondSkin Spectrum V2 liquid dampener for the hood and trunk lid
Planned mods:
Replace Noltec with Whiteline Steering bushings
Painted calipers
gutted uppipe
Slotted brake rotors / ?H6 rear brake mod
LCD DVD screen flip up under clock?
Borla Hush dual-tip cat-back exhaust vs. MadDad 3” Whisper catback
As you can see, I've concentrated to date on handling, stopping, and creature comforts. Power is last on the list... to hopefully be comprised of a gutted uppipe and catback someday (when I can afford it). I'm not as concerned about top end speed, more about low-end torque. Any other suggestions?
