Partying doesn't start until 8 lbs/hp. Above that, it's just a "get-together".

Not a hug fan of the bright red, but it is what it is.

As always, could NOT have maintained my fragile sanity without the help of this lovely who, voluntarily, offered to tackle the driver's side GBOD:

We got everything installed and headed up to M45 to make some noise. RIP headphone users:

Stupidchicken03 approves. lol

Drum roooollololol: 392 whp and 425 ft-lbs at 22.5 psi!

Would liked to have hit 400 for street cred, but I really don't think my butt dyno would be able to distinguish between 392 and 400 whp. In any event, I am happy. Launching hard from a stop feels like the car is being shot out of a cannon! So much torque, it's stupid. And it just pulls and pulls. Can NOT wait for autocross.

As it sits, the choke point is the 2.0L heads and stock EJ205 cams. Maaaaaaybe down the road we'll do cams and headwork to smooth out that top end and pull some more power out, but, for now, the car is pretty much set in terms of power.

As side note. Prior to this latest round of parts, the idle would creep up (sometimes as high as 1500-1600 if left alone) when the car was sitting after being brought up to operating temp. Thought maybe a vacuum leak, but the car is running speed density so the only place a leak would affect it would be between the turbo and the intake port. Smoked it and found nothing. Tried cleaning, then replacing the IACV. Nothing for either attempt. Replaced the throttle body thinking it was dirty/faulty. Nothing.

Poked around the interwebs for a bit and came across an article Cobb had up on their website regarding floating or drifting idles for speed density tunes using MAP sensors other than stock or AEM 3.5 Bar MAP sensors. I had a AEM 5 Bar sensor. Replaced it with the 3.5 and now the idle drops and holds at 800 every time like it should. According to Cobb, they were able to replicate this problem with P&L 4 and 5 Bar MAP sensors. I guess they can now add AEM 5 Bar sensors to the list as well.

Hopefully, that infomation will be useful to someone.

I found this useful. I don't remember how many bars I was going to go for. 3.5 should satisfy my needs.

Everytime still. Heh. It drops past 1100 and I think, "Oh god!", but alas, all is well.

If it's less than 400, I don't care.
