Okay now remember, they were a prototype, I need to make another one or ones to get the cut out right and they were not stuck on very well because I didn't want to risk damaging them if I typed them all there real good. Here are a couple pics of somthing I have finished.

The headlight mod looks pretty bad ass. The first tail light mod with out the cuts in it looks a little weird. The tail light mod with the cuts looks pretty bad ass. I really like the halo type mod to the headlights though.

It looks real nice, howd you get that carbon fiber piece molded like that? I'm so noob hehe

carzy stuff:eek:

Very nice.
I'd probably paint the CF black (or to match the body paint), but thats a personal preference. The cutout shape, size, arangement, etc. all look very good. |
The first pics were not ment for a design (lol), they were just to show you what they looked like before I cut into them.
Making them is super easy, I use Epoxy Resin and it need a very rough surface to be able to bond well, unlike poliester resin I can put cover over the taillight naked and peal it off after it dries. I used two layers for that one that I made. It is very bendy from the resin. I am going to make headlight covers aswell fr stock headlights. My morettes are sweet, but with all those contours they were a huge ***** to cover. Johann |
Hit the tails w/ the full carbon over it. See how well the light shines through. Since most c/f is pretty clear when held to a light, it might shine through with the lights on.

I'm not a big CF fan. The quality of the pieces looks high. I wouldn't do that to my car though, but it's a personal preference thing.
