Yesterday had some more goodies waiting for me at home, love when that happens

Got my mudflaps!
I like RA, and have had them on previous cars, but I cant justify the price for what they are. With the new body style, no one had anything currently available so I had to hurry up and wait. This gave me more time to search around for alternative options. I came across RokBloks and everyone ive seen online who's gotten them, have been happy. So I decided to give em a shot! Hoping this weekend ill be able to throw em on!
Rally Mud Flaps for the Subaru XV Crosstrek 2013+, FREE SHIPPING! - rally mud flaps

My other 32" LED light bar had come in a couple weeks ago and its been sitting patiently in the garage. My next order from Lamin-x arrived yesterday as well. I bought the 32" yellow film strip to put over the LED bar. This will be going behind the lower portion of the bumper. Same yellow tint as the fog lights. Im going to wait to put this in till im completely done with the power block and running wires to all the switches.

I might have to get a set of those RokBloks for the Outback to help protect the doors. The factory mud guards are just too short.

yea all the factory stuff just isnt long enough.

The RB I'd say in a right in-between the RA hard plastic and urethane.

They feel stiff, but will flex. So they arnt going to be blowing around in the wind, but will give hitting rocks/curbs/whatever.

Blowing around in the wind is the definition of a good mudflap.

Its gotta flap!

In the midst of my working in the backyard today, I took a break and make progress on the under-hood bracket. Got it all cut out, smoothed edges and test fit.

But a bend in it, and test fit the power supply. Clears the hood while its closed no issue.

[/url]

After everything was fitting proper, I shot it with a couple coats of truck bed-liner to cover it.
While it was drying, I had to run out to get a water-roller to compact all the top soil I wheel-barrowed into the backyard today.
So putting the back of the car to good use!

Finished product for the bracket. Hoping maybe Friday or early morning Sat or Sun I can have some free time to run all the wiring.

Really didnt do much on the car this weekend as it was the huge Aftershock music festival.

Only thing I did was wire up the switch panel. Hoping to wire in the power distribution box today or tomorrow after work!

I carpooled in with a friend both days to the concert. There is new housing developments all around his place. So I had to wonder off the road a bit to snap a few fun pics

Why are they wired in series? Are they all on the same fuse? How many amps is this rated for?

They all have individual fuses inside that distribution box. If I remember correctly, they are rated for up to 30amps.

Black - ground
Red - power
Blue - LED power
Wire X - individual colors to switches to give/cut power.
