But one question, didn't Fiber Images go out of business or something. I see you have there sticker on the door. I tried to order my hood from them several times (I'm a dealer/vendor/whateveryouwannacallit) and I couldn't get a hold of them forever.

So, what the dealyio?

you might want to invest in a nice roll cage especially with some side impact pertection. Tight shiet though

wow i didnt know they made doors! thats cool. i went to a local car show down here one year and i thought there was a car (i forget what it was) that was totally carbon fibered. but thats was back when i really didnt know anything about cars.

only the front ds/ps doors? not the rears? you should match the whole car with CF. hood, trunk, fenders, the whole sha-bang!

Fiber Images didn't go out of business...they're still around in palmdale, just hit up the website.WWW.FIBERIMAGES.COM and tell them that you saw me on here and was interested on getting a hood, trunk or whatever...the total weight loss was around 200 pounds....totally feel the difference in the car though...these doors are pretty tough but i am looking into getting a roll cage....

 

200 pounds. thats awesome. imagine you did the entire car. unfortunately that wouldnt be very safe for the street though.

 

actually, Fiber Images is making a wide body out of carbon fiber for me including the rear quarter panel...everything but the roof will be out of carbon fiber......

 

swt, pictures when it's all done por favor oh and is that 200 lbs saving from just the front two doors or all four doors being CF?

 

all four doors....like i said they are still making my parts....yes all four doors are carbon fiber...sooo many parts not enough time...or money either!!!

 

Hmmmm....that's weird. I tried to get a dealer account with them, but oh my God is it hard to get a hold of them. It's always that damn message and they never call back. If you say they are still there, new carbon hood, here I come.
