calling all 04 wrx's
The '04s look MUCH better with blacked out headlights.
I dunno but the bugeyes have so grown on me. I hated my car when I bought it a few monthes ago, but after doing the DIY headlight mod and changing out the corners (got rid of the orange) I love it!
Get a bugeyed one man! A used '02 or an '03 with barely any miles yet fo 20K or less. A new '04 WILL run you 6 to 8 grand MORE out the door from the dealership

anyways. the JDM is one of the best looks around IMO.
Sweet-but i have to admit that there is a lot of chrome. Completely clear headlights are a lil too much for me.
If anyone is going to completely clear his headlights, please get an orange bulb.

I got a question but it is not related to this forum. But since we are all 04 WRX owners so i wanna ask.
I got a question about the light bulbs on the front headlights. According to the owner's manual, the HIGH BEAM uses a 9005 HB3 and LOW BEAM uses D2R. And this is the problem. From the diagram they refer high beam to the inner bulbs and low beam to the outside bulbs. And i realize that both daytime and night time driving lights are from the low beam bulbs. So here i bought a pair of sylvania silverstar 9005ST bulbs and the guy said it suppose to replace the LOW BEAM of my car. Also there isn't any D2R bulbs from Sylvania nor Piaa. So the question is do i replace the silverstar 9005ST to the low beam slot or not?

ImpresvWRX, that is soo sweet!! more pics. i don't know many people who already have intercooler pipin on their 04s. very sweet. i actuallt think you should do something about the fog lights though. Fog lights are a part of Subaru tradition. hmm.. you could just cover it too.
